FRAMINGHAM, MA – Betty June (Grimm) Gladwin, formerly of Jensen Beach, Florida and Framingham, Mass, died December 1st at St Patrick's Manor in Framingham where she has been living for the last 4 years.  She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Walter Jordan Gladwin.

Born in Chicago, to George and Ethel (Ritter) Grimm, she predeceased her twin sister Dorothy Turner of Reno, NV, George Grimm of Boston, MA and Charles Grimm of Vero Beach, FL and her Step Mother, Audrey Claire Blythe of Ottawa, Canada.    She is also the sister of Richard Grimm of Hingham, MA and Sandra Sommers of Petaluma, CA.

Betty graduated summa cum laude from Kathleen Dell School in Brookline, MA in 1940.  She also received a certificate in Clinical Laboratory Technique from Loffer Laboratory in Boston, MA in 1940.  Mrs. Gladwin worked as a merchandise department secretary for the Natick distribution center of S&H Green Stamps for several years before becoming Secretary for the Superintendent of Schools in Natick, MA.  She retired in 1978 and moved to Jensen Beach Florida with her husband.  Betty loved Line Dancing and music.  She was a long time member of the Log Cabin Swingers in Jensen Beach.

She is survived by her children Walter Gladwin Jr. and his wife Karen of Westfield, their children Krista Walker and her husband Robert and their children Vivian and Annika, Erik and his wife Heather and their children Benjamin and Norah, Albert Gladwin and his wife, Marjorie, of Westford, their children Scott and his wife Kimmie, Jennifer Hanson and her husband William and their daughter Emma, Dorothy Russell and her husband James, of Ashland, William Gladwin and his wife Cheryl of Mendon and their children Julie and Kimberly.

A Celebration of Life will be held  Saturday May 2, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson, 80 Main Street, Hudson, MA.  A collation will follow in the church hall.
