Bernarda De Nazare Barroso, 96, of Framingham died Sunday September 11, 2022 at St Patrick's Manor.  She was born, raised and educated in Maracana, Para, Brazil, the daughter of Bertoldo Pereira Barroso and Tarcicia De Nazare Barroso. She was a member of St. Tarcisius Church.  She loved crosswords, puzzles and word search games.  She enjoyed drawing and was quite artistic. She liked to cook for her family and was a great dancer. In her spare time she often liked to read, especially her Bible. She also loved watching Brazilian soap operas.

She leaves her two daughters, Maria Thompson and her husband Mark of Framingham and Antonia Tavares and her husband Antonio of Milford; two grandchildren, Victoria and Carolina Tavares both of Milford; many close friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday September 15 at 10:00 AM in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverley Street, Framingham. Burial will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.  Calling hours will be held Wednesday September 14 from 7-9 PM in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.  Flowers may be sent or donations may be made to St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverley Street, Framingham, MA.
