MARLBOROUGH- Barbara A. (Stewart) Murphy, 74 of Marlborough died Wednesday July 4, 2007 in Malborough Hills Healthcare Center. She leaves her daughter, Kathleen M. Derosier, and her husband Richard of Marlborough; her husband Charles T. "Tom" Murphy of Marlborough; a brother Richard E. Horton, and his wife Beverly of Seabrook, NH; two sisters, Anita Auger of Marlborough and Beverly Silva of Millbury; three granddaughters, Stacy J. Baltazar, Nicole M. Derosier and Meghan E. Derosier all of Marlborough; many nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Walter and Abigail (Martin) Stewart and was raised in Northborough before moving to Marlborough in 1951. She worked at Marlboro Footwear for over 20 years before retiring in 1997. Previously she was a waitress at White Cliffs in Northborough. A member of Immaculate Conception Church, she enjoyed reading, classic movies and needlepoint. Her funeral will be held Monday July 9, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough. Calling hours will be held Sunday July 8 from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
