Marlborough- Barbara A. (Doucette) McCready, 73, of Marlborough died Friday June 3, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of the late John R. McCready who died April 13, 2014. She was born in Lowell the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Katherine E. (Zaleski) Doucette. Barbara was a graduate of Cambridge City Hospital School of Nursing and a Registered Nurse. She was a dedicated employee at the MA Department of Public Health (MDPH) for over 30 years. Barbara served as an inspector of health care facilities in the Commonwealth, the training coordinator and was promoted to manager of the MDPH Clinical Laboratory Program and Outpatient Clinics. Barbara was a kind, well-respected employee who will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She and her late husband John enjoyed singing Karaoke.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday July 12 at 11:00 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough
