MALDEN - Arnaldo Vieira Machado, 50, of Malden and formerly of Brazil, died at home Tuesday, April 19, 2011 while surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Silvia Angelo (Queiroz) Machado for the last 29 years. He was born, raised and educated in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, the son of Lourdes Vieira Machado of Belo Horizonte and the late Alcyr G. Machado. Arnaldo was a computer technician for many years and while in Brazil, was a business consultant. He enjoyed tennis, computers, barbecues and spending times with his family and many friends. He was a member of the Maranatha Christian Church. Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Arnaldo A. Machado and his daughter, Adriana Machado Negrini, both of Everett; six sisters; and many nephews and nieces.
Calling hours and a funeral service will be held Friday, April 22, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Maranatha Christian Church, 162 Vernal Street, Everett. Burial will be in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
