Lucille I. (Bedard) Cross, 76, of Marlborough died Tuesday November 6, 2018 at St. Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Her husband William J. Cross died in 1985. She was born, raised and educated in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Ernest F. and Laura E. (Beausoleil) Bedard. She worked at Shaw’s, Bradlees, Caldor’s, Rich’s Department Store, Marlboro Wire Goods and Frye Shoe as a stitcher. She was a former member of St. Mary’s Church, a member of the Loyal Order of The Moose # 657 and AARP. She enjoyed Bingo, crocheting and knitting. She was a Patriots and Gators fan. Lucille will be remembered by her family and friends as a warm, loving and giving woman.
She leaves three sons, Kenneth J. Perkins of Worcester, Mark A. and Derek P. Cross of Florida; two brothers, Armand Bedard and Albert Bedard; a sister Therese Boulay of Marlborough; many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Laura Perkins, her siblings, Emile Bedard, Clarence Bedard and Marguerite Ballard.
Calling hours will be held Friday November 16 from 9-11 a.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
