Levi H. Da Silva, 62, of Worcester died Thursday August 23, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Ivone R. (Dos Santos) Silva. He was born in Osasco, Sao Paulo, Brazil the son of Gilberto H. and Amara (Peixoto) Da Silva and was a graduate of Uni Frieo in Osasco where he received his Juris Doctor degree. Levi practiced Law in Brazil prior to moving to the United States in 1994. He was a chemical technician for Dow Chemical for twenty years and retired on August 10. He was an active member of the Brazilian Assembly of God Church in Worcester and was a Bible School teacher. He was a devoted father, husband and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
He leaves two sons, William A. Henrique of Shrewsbury and Andre R. Henrique of Tampa, Fla; a daughter Aline C. Henrique of Worcester; four grandchildren, Gustavo, Lucas, and Victoria Henrique all of Tampa and Benjamin Henrique of Shrewsbury; four brothers, Ezequias, Benjamin, Jairo and Lazaro; five sisters, Lizette, Suzana, Esmeralda, Lidia and Lelia.
Calling hours will be held Sunday August 26 from 4-7 p.m. in the Brazilian Assembly of God Church, 91 Canterbury Street, Worcester. A graveside service will be held Tuesday August 28 at 11:00 a.m. in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street, Worcester.
