Kathleen E. Gould

Marlborough- Kathleen E. (Feeley) Gould, 71, of Marlborough died Monday March 12, 2018 at UMASS Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer, a battle she fought right to the very end and did it her way.  She was the wife of Herbert L. Gould who died in 2014.  She was born in Waltham, the daughter of the late Harold and Kathleen (Hartlen) Feeley and was a graduate of Marlborough High School Class of 1964.  She was a front-end manager at The Paper Store in Hudson for 20 years. She previously worked for her father’s company, Unique Press in Waltham for 30 years. Kathleen was inducted into the Assabet Valley Athletic Hall of Fame for her Booster Club activities. The one thing that meant the most to her was family. She was a fiercely devoted mother to her three boys, a loving Nana to her nine grandchildren, a much-loved auntie, sister, mother in law, cousin and friend. She loved family holidays (and would drive herself crazy to get the "perfect" gift for everyone), loved her travels with Betty and beach days with Bev, her weekly 4:30 dinner date with Uncle Paul and Sophia, watching every episode of Law and Order 500 times. 

She leaves three sons, Batt. Chief Brian P. Gould, M.F.D. and his wife Elita of Marlborough; Stephen M. Gould and his wife Heather of Marlborough and Jason J. Gould and his wife Kayt of Mashpee; two brothers, Gerald Feeley of Waltham and Richard Feeley of Florida; a brother-in-law, Paul Lefevre of Marlborough; nine grandchildren, Ian, Hayley, Peyton, Kathryn, Bethany, Olivia, Ryan, Alyssa and Dominic; many nephews, nieces and cousins; best friends, Betty Rigney and Beverly Longtine.  She was pre-deceased by her sister Patricia Lefevre of Marlborough died on 2014. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday March 20 at 9:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street.  Calling hours will be held Monday March 19 from 5-8 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
