Millbury- James A. Ojerholm, 69, of Millbury and formerly of Auburn and Worcester, died Thursday December 27, 2018 at Care One Millbury. He was the husband of Izabel Cristina Herpio-Ojerholm for the past 16 years. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Wilbur and Rosina N. (Platts) Ojerholm and was a graduate of Millbury High School Class of 1967. He was a US Navy veteran who had been stationed in Norfolk, VA. James was a CAD designer for Riley Stoker Corporation for over 30 years retiring in 2012. He was devoted to his family and friends and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. In addition to his wife Izabel, he leaves three sons, Jayson C. Ojerholm and his wife April of Oxford, Justin J. Ojerholm of Dudley and Jonathan T. Ojerholm of Wellington, Florida; two stepdaughters, Lorrayne Dos Santos of Worcester and Suellen Duque of Marlborough; a sister Susan J. Whiterell and her husband Jack of Millbury; a granddaughter Kaitlyn Ojerholm, and 3 step-grandchildren, Isabella C. Duque , Gabriella C. Duque and Jakob J. Rochefort.
A funeral service will be held Thursday January 3 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial with military honors will follow in Central Cemetery, 24 West Street, Millbury. Calling hours will be held Wednesday January 2 from 5-8 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
