Eriberto Chacón

Eriberto Chacón, 90, of Worcester went to be with our Lord on Thursday July 12, 2018 at  home surrounded by his family.  He was the husband to the late Fredesvinda Chacon who died in November.  He was born in Jiquilisco, El Salvador the son of the late Reyes Diaz and Santos Chacón .  He was the father of 16 children and is survived by Samuel, Jeremias, Orfa, Eliu, Raquel, Otoniel, Tirsa, Debora, Salatiel, Lidia and Rigoberto. He leaves a sister Delfina and was a grandfather  to 37 grandchildren,  great-grandmother to 26 great-grandchildren. He also leaves many nephews, nieces and cousins. Eriberto was a true Entrepreneur, owning a fishing business, farm and convenience store while living in El Salvador.  He was a member  of Betesda Christian Center in Worcester and enjoyed preaching the gospel to all.  He was an avid gardener and fisherman. 

Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation on Sunday July 15 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in Emanuel Christian Center, 814 Boston Post Road, Marlborough. A graveside service will be held Monday July 16 at 10:30 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street in Marlborough. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
