Edward R. Allen

Edward R. Allen, 79, of LaGrange, GA died Monday July 30, 2018 at the home of his daughter Heather in Hudson, MA.  He was born in Clinton, Illinois, the son of the late Everett and Clara Mae (Reed) Allen and was a graduate of Decatur High School Class of 1957.  He honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1961-1965.  He worked for Sangamo Auto Parts in Decatur, Illinois for many years.  Edward enjoyed street rods, woodworking, leather working, and drag racing, and was a member of the Early Idlers Car Club.  He leaves his son, Ellis Todd Allen of Broomfield, CO and daughter, Heather Suzanne Krieg of Hudson, MA; three grandchildren, David, Rebekah and Michelle Krieg all of Hudson.  He was the brother of the late Jimmy Dean Allen and Michael Lynn Allen.
