Cheryl McGee Obituary

Northborough- Cheryl L. (McCollom) McGee, 64, of Northborough died Saturday October 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of James E. McGee for the past 18 years. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Beverly M. (Prentis) Taylor and the late Richard W. McCollom. She was a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Marlborough. Cheryl enjoyed cruises, casinos, reading and camping.  She was a loyal Patriots and Bruins fan and was devoted to her family. She was also an avid bowler, playing with the Summer Street Dreamers.

In addition to her husband and mother she leaves two sons, Brian K. McCollom of Mississippi and Chris E. Slavin of Holden; two daughters, Bonnie L. Clement of Webster and Michelle L. Howland of Millbury; three brothers, Michael McCollom of Milford, Wayne McCollom of Framingham and David Taylor of Maine; two sisters, Wendy McCollom of California and Lori Rosemary of Delaware; 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins. She was the sister of the late Stephen McCollom and William Taylor.

A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday December 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Marlborough. Following the service a reception will be held in the church hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to VNA Hospice, 100 Trade Center G 500, Woburn, MA 01801. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home.
