MARLBOROUGH - Angelo Cincotta, 90, of Marlborough died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham after a brief illness. He was the husband of Georgianna (McAvoy) Cincotta, who died in 1983. Angelo was born, raised and educated in Marlborough, the son of the late Angelo and Jennie M. (Zanca) Cincotta, and was a 1939 graduate of Marlborough High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II from 1944 to 1946.  For many years, he was Adjudicator for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Unemployment before retiring in 1984.   He previously worked as an equipment tester for General Radio in West Concord and the former Mutual Shoe Co. as a sole layer, both for many years.  Angelo enjoyed repairing televisions and radios, vegetable gardening, watching Red Sox and Patriots games and in his later years, he loved singing Karaoke at Joy Asia every weekend.  Angelo was a kind, strong-willed man and devoted father to his four children, never letting a day go by without letting them know how much he loved them. He gave them all webcams so he could see and speak to them daily.  He leaves his son, Richard A. Cincotta of Sebago, Maine, and two daughters, Linda M. Paul of North Grafton and Joan Wollenhaupt of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Bernard Cincotta of Melrose and two sisters, Gloria Pakus of Marlborough and Jennie Georges, of Arizona; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  He also leaves his longtime companion, Olive Harvell of Sudbury, MA.  His son, Robert F. Cincotta of Florida, died in 2004.  His funeral will be held Tuesday, May 8 at 10 a.m., from the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough, with a Mass at 11 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street, Marlborough. Burial with military honors will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Marlborough. Calling hours will be held Monday, May 7 from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home. All are invited to sign Angelo’s online guestbook at www.CollinsFuneral.com. Instead of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.

To the Cincotta family and especially his dear friend Olive,

It is with deepest sorrow that we send this message of condolence. Angelo was one of the kindest, gentlest men we have ever known. His friendship has meant a great deal to us over these many years. His voice singing "My Way" or another of his favorite Karaoke songs will stay in my memory forever.

May the good Lord accept this beautiful man into the peace and tranquility that he deserves so much.

Good bye dear dear friend!

All our Love

Chuck & Norma
