Hudson - Ruth (Berry) Jaworek, 92, of Hudson died peacefully Tuesday May 16, 2017 at her home, and  joined her late husband” Varge”, who died on March 29th, to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary. She was born in Marlborough the daughter of the late Joseph and Ontuos (Stark) Berry and was a 1942 graduate of St. Michael’s Academy in Hudson.  Ruth was a member of “The Breakfast Club” , a group of friends who dined and travelled together. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, walking, dancing and the beach. Ruth was an ardent supporter of her grandchildren and all of their endeavors. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was very witty.  Ruthie always put others needs before her own, and donated many pieces that she made to various charitable organizations. She was pre-deceased by her son Michael and her daughter-in-law Pamela Jaworek of Marlborough. She leaves three grandchildren, Lindsey Jaworek Dinneen and her husband Patrick of Marlborough, Nicholas Jaworek and his wife Renee of Marlborough and Derek Norton of Florida; six great grandchildren, Lincoln, Jackson, Cameron, Tyler, Casey and Jake; a brother Joseph Berry and his wife Lorice of Norwood; the most loving nephews and nieces; she was also the grandmother of the late David Norton.

A graveside service will be held Monday May 22 at 11:00 a.m. in Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Sunday May 21 from 2-4 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.  A funeral service will follow calling hours at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
