Hudson - Michael J. McCann, 51, of Hudson and formerly of South Weymouth died Thursday February 2, 2017 at South Shore Hospital. He was the former husband of Deborah A. (Perry) McCann for the past 23 years. He was born in Brockton, the son of the Bernadette J. (Loycano) McCann of Hudson and the late James McCann. He was raised in South Weymouth and was a graduate of Weymouth South High School Class of 1984.  Michael was a Technician at Bay Copy in Rockland for over 20 years. He loved computers and music and formed his own Rock band “Octalien”, who played throughout the South Shore area. He was an accomplished guitarist and songwriter.  Michael will be remembered for his great sense of humor and outgoing personality. He was devoted to his children.

He leaves his son Devon M. McCann of Hudson; his daughter Jessica Paradis of Bridgewater; two sisters, Maureen Bonetti and her husband Richard C. of Leominster and Kathleen M. Cuddy and her husband Robert F. of Hudson; a grandson Xavier James of Bridgewater; two Godchildren, Vincent J. Bonetti and Sean J. Cuddy; many loving nephews, nieces and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday February 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home(www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Monday February 6 from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to www.AutismSpeaks.org.
