Marlborough- Donald E. Turcotte, 88, of Marlborough died Sunday June 18, 2017 at Beaumont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Northborough. He was the husband of Joan (Blakely) Turcotte for the past 63 years. He was born and raised in Marlborough, the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Cadrette) Turcotte and attended Worcester Boys Trade School before enlisting in the US Army. He served his country honorably during World War II. Donald worked for Rexnord in Hudson for 18 years before retiring in 1992. He previously worked for Marlborough Wire Goods and Thomas Taylor in Hudson. He was an avid Red Sox fan who enjoyed bowling, baseball and playing cards.
In addition to his wife he leaves three sons, Robert J. Turcotte of Layton, Utah, Paul J. Turcotte and Stephen W. Turcotte both of Marlborough; a daughter Lisa E. Sanginario of Boylston; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Burial will be held at Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to a charity of donor’s choice.
